We have discussed this topic in emails + in person..but i guess it would be best to forumize it now.

i believe the 10 commandments were listed as the best rules for starting a civilization...

The ten commandments puts all of its emphasis on the power of the God. It places humans at the bottom, looking up to God.

As is made clear in the handbook, humans are entering the age of empowerment. We are no longer victims. We are to discover how truly powerful we are. The new way requires that we foster this mentality.

In truth, we are the manifestation of the Universe coming back into itself. We need to allow room to stretch, to become as big as God, if possible.

These are the important ones

Honor your father and your mother

You shall not murder.

You shall not commit adultery.

You shall not steal.

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Yeah, those are great places to start.

i mean it is def basic "don't be a douche" guidelines... and in a small community of people its very manageable... so we may not have to worry much about it...cause honestly... if you do any of those things on our community...1: i don't know how you got in, and 2: we dont create jails..we just kick you out or ya know...kill you

They'll likely perish on their own. The new world won't support people who think in the old way.

Just downloaded and started reading the guide. It's like a drastically more serious version of "the Secret." By serious, I mean, it seems to be laying out the stakes involved in NOT be willing to take the creative leap into a different way of being. Whereas, the secret doesn't really do much to emphasize the consequences of continuing to do what we do on a daily basis.

Especially, when you consider that their "sponsor" later wrote a letter stating that he was surprised that the Cold War had ended and that the Berlin wall had come down. He was a former Navy guy, who thought that the world was going to go to hell in a hand basket of nuclear Armageddon, and this was his way of contributing to the continuation of the humanity he so loved. These injunctions on the guidestones make perfect sense to me in the context of a restart after such a Holocaust.

Once again, Mr. Green is making the classical Ichian mistake of lumping ALL groups into the grand conspiracy to destroy humanity. But I submit to you that if you believe in any kind of polarity at all, that for every "evil" Domination conspiracy (which literally comes from the Latin and means "to breathe together") there exists a counter-balancing force (or forces) that for lack of better terminology we can term a "good" Liberation conspiracy. None of them have all the answers, but I believe are sincerely doing their part to help. Mr. Green seems to be a part of the "good" conspiracy, but any time you take a hard line on anything, your worldview causes you to disqualify some things that don't fit into your paradigm neatly. This is where scholarship actually comes in handy. The ability to sift through information, hear different sides of the story, and then develop a synthesis based on the information is a skill the world needs much more of.

Many people think that because the GS says to maintain population at 500 million that that necessarily means the builder is advocating extermination of a vast proportion of humanity, but once you understand that the sponsor really thought we were going to blow ourselves to high hell, you see that this injunction is not so sinister as one might suppose. One must always penetrate way, way deeper than any surface statement.

I haven't read the book about the GS yet, but I have read a great deal about them and here's a podcast with the author of the book.

And on the other hand, I pretty much agree with this assessment of Santa Claus, at least in the sense that the whole thing smacks of crass commercialism, and IS the most universal conspiracy there is. Think about it, all adults in the Christian world support the conspiracy and participate in the lie to children who have not yet been deemed "old enough" to be let in the cosmic joke.
